The Nashville Music Industry Luncheon is an opportunity for people from all corners of the music industry to network, master-mind and be educated by industry leaders. The event is held the last Thursday of every month from 11:30 – 1:00 PM.
This month’s speaker is veteran entertainment attorney, Gregory Seneff Sr.. His topic is:
‘Legal Issues Most Artists and Songwriters Don’t Know About’
Most artists and songwriters are familiar with the basic legal aspects of their crafts. However, there are many issues that often go overlooked until they cause real trouble. ‘I didn’t know’ is not a legal defense! In this workshop, veteran entertainment attorney, Gregory Seneff, will enlighten you regarding some of these lesser-publicized but potentially career-damaging laws and issues.
About Greg:
Greg has worked as a solo-practitioner, served as the Director of Legal Affairs at Benson Music Group, and as the Director of Business Affairs at EMI Christian Music Group. Both company positions included drafting and negotiating recording contracts, publishing contracts, record distribution agreements, exclusive production agreements, video production agreements, record club distribution agreements, and international sub-publishing agreements.
