The monthly Nashville Songwriter Luncheon is designed to help songwriters network and connect with other writers as well as publishers and other industry executives. Each event also features a guest industry speaker addressing a topic of interest and importance to writers.
The first event is Thursday, April 10 from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at South, 1524 Demonbreun St., Nashville (a few doors up from the Tin Roof)

‘Pitching In Nashville – What Works, What Doesn’t & Why’
Nashville consultant, publisher and songplugger, Steve Bloch has been listening to music in this town for over two decades and is known for having a great and honest ear. He is currently the Director of Publisher Relations at A&R, LLC. He also listens for Doug Johnson, creative head of Black River Entertainment, whose artists include Kellie Pickler, Craig Morgan and John King, among others. Steve is a frequent guest of many songwriter festivals, workshops, and publisher nights, including the West Coast Songwriters Association, the Durango Songwriters Expo, the Arizona Songwriters Association, TAXI, and various NSAI, and SGA events.
