New Docuseries To Celebrate Classic Country Artists
And Songwriters of the 1960s–1980s
Crowdfunding Campaign Launches to Preserve Stories and Music for Future Generations
Nashville, TN — [August 2025] — A new documentary series, Stage Lights and Stories, is set to shine a spotlight on the legendary country music artists, songwriters, and industry icons who defined the genre in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. The project, produced by Indie Connect Inc. and Saylors Brothers Entertainment, has officially launched a crowdfunding campaign to give fans the opportunity to support and take part in preserving these timeless stories.
The producers are hosting a series of intimate live reunions for the artists, songwriters and industry pros of that era. The events will feature live performances and behind-the-scenes interviews with classic artists who helped shape the golden era of country music. For many, this will be the first time they have seen one another in decades.
“This isn’t just about nostalgia,” says Vinny Ribas, producer and founder of Indie Connect. “It’s about honoring and celebrating the artists who paved the way, preserving their legacies, and sharing their music and stories with new generations before they’re lost forever.”
The series will begin filming in Nashville with the 1st historic reunion event in October, bringing together beloved country performers, hit songwriters, and music industry legends. Future episodes are planned to highlight Texas and West Coast country music communities.
